10 Things I've learned

1.  God loves you
John 3:16  For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

2.  Although you are smart, there will always be someone smarter.
Stop comparing yourself to other people.  It will only lead to insecurities wherever you go.  Strive to be the best YOU, not a copy of the person next to you.  Know your strengths.  Don't belittle your weaknesses.

3.  Education is important
Get a degree, and figure out what you want to do with your life.

4.  Be honest
Honesty is always the best policy.

5.  Hold tight to your friends
Appreciate them for all that they are.  Make time for them even admits busy schedules.

6.  Spend time with your family
Your family is important, invest in these relationships.  Love your parents, make them proud.

7.  Volunteer
It always feels so good to know that you have given your time to help others.  Also donating blood is one of the easiest things to give.  For every unit of blood you donate, you save three lives.

8.  Live life in the moment
Enough to learn from the past and to have a plan for the future.  Just don't let the now moments pass you bye.

9.  Don't worry
Philippians 4:6 Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.

10.  Be confident, get out of your comfort zone and try new things.
You might be thinking, those are three different things, but for me they all go together.  Trying new things, causes me to get out of my comfort zone.  And confidence makes everything easier.  If you don't feel very confident, imagine the most confident person you know and try and act how they would.
